Your Wedding Flowers

Flowers add natural beauty to your wedding. The best way to achieve the atmosphere and style that you want is to hire a reputable and creative florist to do your bouquets and flowers.

After the wedding, consider preserving your bouquet for a beautiful keepsake of your special day. If you really want to toss a bouquet at your reception, ask your florist to make you a special tossing bouquet. Then you can keep your actual bouquet and have it preserved.

The Bride's Flowers

What's your style?

Some brides just LOVE the huge draping bouquets, while others may choose the more modern small bouquet.

Whatever your style, when you choose your bouquet, consider the style of your gown, your height, your dress, and the season! If you selected your gown prior to visiting the florist, take a picture of your gown or swatch of the fabric with you when selecting your bouquet. This will help the florist suggest beautiful designs for you!

Don't be afraid of using silks for your bouquet! Silk flowers will last a lifetime and you will have a beautiful and meaningful memento from your ceremony!

Flowers for the Wedding Party
Bridesmaids carry bouquets similar to the bridal bouquet. Typically they are smaller, however. They can also wear corsages or wrist bracelets.

The Groom, Groomsmen, Ushers, and Fathers typically wear boutonnieres. The boutonnieres may be of a different color or flower than the bridesmaid's bouquet.

Don't be afraid to be creative! Be sure to take a swatch of fabric from the bridesmaid's dresses to your florist so he or she can match the flowers to the dress!
